Best egg maker design and features

I love this little egg maker… First use worked perfectly… I will update later if that changes… My only con is that it does not beep as some others do… but no big deal, the light goes off when done… you will have the brown burnt look on the silver bottom but it wipes out clean with some dawn spray or dish soap… eggs peeled very nicely… and it does 7 large eggs perfectly…

    my favorite features:….
Mint green retro look very compact sleep design
Handles on the egg holder to lift them out and dump them in cold water,
The measuring cup with pin on the bottom to pierce the egg AND it has a protective cap/cover too (which alot of other brands do not offer this)
The light goes out when done… (though wish had a beeper)
12 dollars is a super huge bargain compared to microwave (gets way too hot to handle) and turning on a stove to boil water… so big $$$ saver

I normally do not write reviews but this one deserved an A+++++ Also I chose this over the ones that have the knob on top as again, it looks sleeker and stores easier…

Steams eggs and steams them quick.

There are several reasons to get this product if you regularly make boiled eggs. For one, it is fast. By the time your eggs are done steaming, the water in a pot would have just reached boiling. Even with a conventional steamer, the size of it requires more time to heat. This thing is so small and uses such little water, that the water begins steaming very quick. And that compactness also means it is easy to store.

The 2nd reason is peeling. I've never had much luck peeling eggs after boiling them in water, even after an ice bath. But with this, I've never had any issues.

    Cooks fantastic hard boiled eggs

This is a great little egg cooker. Does not take long and works great, I use it a couple times a week. It does not have any kind of audible indication that the eggs are done cooking so you have to keep an eye on to see when the light goes off.

    Perfect Eggs Made Easy!

he Elite Gourmet Easy Egg Cooker is a total lifesaver in my kitchen! It cooks up to 7 eggs at a time, and I love how simple it is to get perfect results every time—whether soft, medium, or hard-boiled. Just add water, turn it on, and let it do its magic.

The compact size makes it easy to store, and the buzzer alerts you when the eggs are ready, so there’s no guesswork. Cleanup is a breeze, and the included measuring cup is super handy. If you love eggs and want a quick, no-mess solution, this is the gadget for you! Highly recommend!

    Works great!

Super fast, easy, and no clean up! Prick the top of the egg, add the amount of water that corresponds with how hard-boiled you like your egg, and before your toast and coffee are made, your eggs are ready! No pans, timers, or monitoring needed. And my soft boiled eggs are ready to spread onto my toast. I choose hard boiled option (a bit more water) for deviled eggs. I love this small and simple device!

perfect hard boil eggs every time!

Got this as a gift, and love how easy it works. Six perfect easy to peel eggs every time. I don't watch the light to time it I set a timer for 20 minuets and then plung in ice water. I've given two as gifts and two friends have bouoght one based on me ravings about it. But, when my finally dies (many years from now I hope) I'll buy the upgrade model that has little pans included that you can pouch eggs in too.

    Great, affordable egg cooker!

I was tired of boiling eggs on the stove and I wanted a good and affordable electric egg cooker and this is it! It's easy to use and it boils up to 7 eggs at a time! I see that some here are frustrated with the film / residue that is left after cooking the eggs, so I want to share a tip: after the egg cooker has cooled off, pour pure white vinegar to cover the bottom completely. Let it soak until the residue had disappeared (about 10 minutes or so) then rinse and wipe clean and voilĂ ! If there's still some residue left, scrub it with baking soda.
