Great starter setI’ve owned this knife set for about 2-2.5 years now, and they have held steady! Gorgeous design, and have remained sharp enough all this time, I never have any issues when cooking. I am, however, upgrading to a new stainless steel set now because the paint on these knives have started coming off, and the paint gets into the food and that is yucky. But, this is a great set for the price and I definitely recommend it, 5 stars as a starter set!

Great product, commit to handwashingLooks great, comes to your home super sharp…but commit to handwashing. Now my knives are sitting for decoration rather than function, because I do the dishes in the house and I don't like handwashing, so…limited usage as a result.
But I like the style and design. Definitely recommend if you are willing to hand wash (and it's just NOT my thing, and my wife doesn't…do a whole lot around the house.).

SplintersI really liked these knives up until recently. They’re sharp, feel good in your hand, good weight, and aesthetically look good. I never put them in the washing machine.
Unfortunately, the wood has splintered now on two of the knives. There seems to be a quality issue with the wood, I would be careful.
