After using the Ninja multicooker for a while, which was also great, I decided to make the switch to the Midea Flexify French Door Toaster Oven Air Fryer Combo. My main reason for the change was the reheat function, which the Midea offers, and I’m really glad I gave it a try! So far, it’s been an excellent choice. The 26.4 QT capacity is large enough to handle bigger meals, and the French door design is both functional and stylish. The air fryer feature works like a charm, making foods crispy with little to no oil—perfect for healthy cooking. I’m also loving the reheat function, which has been a real time-saver. It heats up leftovers evenly, preserving texture and taste. The unit is versatile, offering various cooking functions like baking, broiling, and toasting, making it a great all-in-one appliance. Cleanup is easy, and the unit doesn’t take up too much space on my countertop. So far, I’m really impressed and happy with my decision!

It has a sleek, high-end design that looks fantastic in my kitchen, and it’s even respectable enough to give as a gift.

1) The French door with glass is a great feature, you can easily watch your food while it bakes and see how it's turning out.
2) The size is perfect too, it can fit a 12 inch pizza or even a whole chicken.
3) It heats up quickly, which is a huge time-saver for my busy daily life. Compared to a traditional oven, this air fryer is more compact, saving both time and electricity.
4) The only minor con is that it takes a little time to learn how to operate the knobs and adjust settings for time and temperature. But once you get the hang of it, it's super easy to use.

Overall, this is an amazing product that I highly recommend!

I seriously cannot believe that I was able to bake a full sized loaf of bread using my cast iron bread loaf pan (AND I realize now that I can fit TWO cast iron loaf pans comfortably if I want to) – it came out perfect. I tried the convection mode and foil for the last 10 minutes (but i had to do foil in my regular oven anyway). I will invest in a Dutch oven with a cover (I’ve been meaning to buy one anyway) – then I won’t need the foil at all anymore. Cookies came out GREAT no burnt bottoms – crispy and chewy and PERFECT. The french doors are an aesthetic bonus, and they are functional – they both open at the same time, which is nice. The unit is sturdy/built well and nice looking and has a THREE PRONG plug – which for safety reasons I passed on another popular brand with very similar features (and slightly roomier) with French doors – the two prong plug was a NO for me, regardless of the extra space. Anyway, it is a GREAT toaster oven, the knob and buttons are very distinct and easy to use (not like the electronic “pads” some toaster ovens have) – which I don’t like too much, while at the same time, offering most of the same up to date features. I don’t understand the criticisms regarding the knob and buttons not being “intuitive” (it does not operate via AI??? – they are simple, straightforward, and easy to use – honestly) I am very picky, and I love this toaster oven for the purposes I need it – and it looks elegant on my kitchen counter with a small footprint for what it handles. It was a great buy:) More than satisfied on this end:)

love this oven! love the double doors. right now my big oven isn't working and this oven is working fine. just smaller meals but that's ok. bakes evenly. air fry works, and toasting is great. and you can stop the cooking process by holding in start/stop button for 3 seconds. I noticed others comments on not being able to turn it off. but I figured that trick out.

We were a little nervous about the brand and had never heard of it. This was purchased to replace a high end Gourmia air fryer. I have to say we are highly impressed with this air fryer. The control are easy and the screen reads well. It cooks a pizza to perfection. We've made steaks, lobster, brownies, pizza, lasagna, ga lic bread, toast, burgers, reheated leftovers, and several other things with excellent results. Love the multilayer cooking heights and it comes with a wire tray, wire basket, and baking sheet. It does run a little loud and you definitely need to pay attention to where you use this. It's a stainless steel housing and gets hot. Easy to clean inside and out.

So I saw a couple other reviews on this product that I wanted to correct with my own personal experience. One person stated that there was no way to power it off without unplugging it. With my experience, I found out all you have to do is hold down the start stop button for 3 to 4 seconds and release and it will power off. That same person said that you could not change the time or the temperature once it was set into place. That is not accurate. All you do is touch the temperature time button and use the knob and you can change it at any time while you're cooking, and it doesn't skip a beat. Another person said something about the rack being pulled out barely at all, without it spilling out. I have not experienced this at all. I have not had any problems with cooking food 1 bit Soever. All the settings work just fine. Read the instructions. There's little things that are important. This one is definitely much better than my previous air fryer. This is my very much honest review. I'm not getting paid by anybody. I just wanted to set the record straight with some of these other reviews that i've seen. For the size an efficiency, you cannot beat it for the price.

The size is not overwhelming it fits perfect in our space. Absolutely the easiest to use. Good value and great purchase.

Love my Midea oven! I've been cooking in it since it arrived! I've tried all the settings except for the dehydrate setting. Once you get the timing down on your foods you're all set. Definitely cooks faster then my oven and air fryer and toaster oven. So you can set your recipe times for less. I read a lot of reviews for high end and mid range products and this oven had better results on the reviews. Really glad to have this in my kitchen.

I found the features easy to use but did have to consult the manual for some explantation of a couple of them. The only issue I have is the fan. After cooking, broiling, toasting or whatever I use, the fan stays on to cool off the appliance and it is quite noisy.

This thing rocks honestly. Got it to replace my air fryer that broke. If using the airfyer mode place food in the wire rack on top of the baking sheet middle row. The go down 20°f ie. If it airfyer instructions say 350 – set it to 330 for same amount of time, and it'll be great. But if nothing else its a great toaster oven.

The quality of the oven is great. They styling is perfect and matches my appliances. The size is great for baking cakes. When my oven died. I needed to bake a birthday cake and it bakes very well with the convection feature on.

I am beginning with a 5 because so far, so wonderful!

I was hesitant to purchase this because of some of the negative reviews and checked other reviews elsewhere and felt it was a good leap of faith. I have no trouble with even cooking or setting it or cleaning it. I also just got it and put it to use. My concern is how long it will last. I am hoping for a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10…longer if possible. I replaced my previous Air Fryer that was a reliable basket type. It lasted 5 years before the heating element went. This one is much nicer. So, fingers crossed.

I will update my rating at a later date to give a more comprehensive review as to performance. My chicken came out crispy and moist in a fraction of the time it takes baking or roasting the old school way (air fried). Being in the basket was great. I also didn't need to flip the chicken like I would in the old air fryer. The basket sits on top of the baking tray allowing space and the fat from the chicken to drip into the tray.

I chose this because of the French door design which makes handling food so much safer and it is the perfect size for me to roast a larger chicken etc. getting it in and out.

While I don't normally spend this amount on small appliances this has so far proven to be a good spend. Again, if it lasts 5-10 years. Time will tell.

I love my new Midea Flexify French door all in one air fryer! This is becoming my most used appliance! Yesterday I made the easiest, best grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch, and perfect ribeye steaks for dinner! I couldn’t be happier with it! Cleanup is a snap, it preheats fast, and the quality is excellent for the price! It also fits under my cabinets with the required space around it!

****UPDATED REVIEW****I am updating my initial review after Toshiba reached out to me after seeing my review and sent me a free replacement which is working much much better!!! I appreciate so much that they would have that level of incredible customer service I honestly didn't think existed in the world anymore! They took the time and care to contact me uninitiated!! Just WOW!! The new oven is working GREAT! Its everything I had hoped for!! Great large size, NO smell after burn off, excellent in every function! Do not hesitate to buy!! Thank you Toshiba!!

Smells like chemicals long after byrn off period. I have been running it off and on for 3 days probably a total of 6 hours per day and it still smells. I wiped it and amd made sure all interior packaging is removed. I tried toasting bread to help as I read on reddit and nothing helps. Gross!! Returning asap. Avoid this one!!

I’m a mom that has multiple children. When I need to air fry anything it was usually using our older air fryer multiple times to get everyone fed. I started looking for an air fryer that can have cavity for a half tray. This one value for the money appealed to me. It also has other cooking settings like oven which helped me tremendously just this thanksgiving. This over air fryer is easy to use. It’s easy to clean because I use disposable half trays and reuse those when I can because it just makes my life easier. They fit perfectly. This is a nice size so it does take up space but it’s worth it. Thanksgiving this cooked a whole ham while my oven was occupied with the Turkey. Than I was able to make my trays of dishes like Mac n cheese and roasted vegetables. It saved the day and it does every single day. I am able to cook bigger portions for my large family. We are a fan of died chicken wings and this makes them so delicious. Again I’m one tray and done and not waiting to fill another batch. It’s durable, many little hands wanting to have fries or chicken nuggets and they all know how to use it. It’s so versatile so many baking and drying options and each one impresses me. I love that I was able to find a product that saved me money and works just as good and sufficiently as the higher cost ones. The French doors are awesome. The slide out of the tray to help you take out your cookies food or give the food a little turn makes it function awesome. I’m happy I didn’t go with the same name brand I had before which was tripe the price . Save tour money because this one doesn’t disappoint.

I'm single and tried this Midea. I'm so surprised it is not flimsy, every button works, does a 10.5" bar pizza perfectly, and was well thought out.

Unless I'm making something in a large utensil that won't fit inside the Midea, this is all I use for an oven now!

I thought maybe it would have a problem or stop working but I've used it about 35 times now and it works like new.

I recommend this toaster oven and is far more versatile, much larger, and easier to use than an old style air fryer!!

I could not get the company to respond to a request to buy another wire shelf, but see some in the thrift stores that might fit.

When using the convection fan function, the timer will only go up to 30 min. I do want to turn up the volume on the DONE alert but can't find a way to do that.

Little learning curve but once you "get it", you will be happy. Vid on YT may help.

Beautiful! I chose this one because , no plastic, no aluminum, all stainless steel,and it’s a huge appliance. Seems complicated 😂 but I’m sure I’ll be fine once I get familiar . I actually bought another, arriving soon but will return. I can’t believe I missed seeing it had plastic metal and Teflon coating. This is the MIDEA and it’s perfect.
