Great filter!Read the instructions carefully when installing filter! I prefer and recommend you watch a YouTube video on this procedure, much easier to understand. This filter is a perfect fit and although the manual states to change filter and descale every 3 months, every machine and situation is different depending on usage rate and water quality. I get a full year out of my filter and to descale. I believe that my filtered water from my refrigerator helps get more longevity of the filter. There is no substitute for the OEM filter.

O-ring issue?O ring didn't make a good seal on the Ggaia Babila. Took ring off old filter and swapped. Filter works well otherwise. May have gotten a bad one but may not get again due to that unsurity.

Expensive but necessary for Phillips espresso makerI have gone through quite a few of these filters in the past for my espresso machine. The nice thing about using this so far is that I have not needed to decal the machine. They are rated for many cups, but they never last that long. I don’t know how the machine detects when it needs to be replaced however, I find that I go through one to two of them a year. Even though they are high cost, they save you money from needing to decal your machine so make sure to replace it when the light turns on.
