It does a good job of bringing water swiftly to a rolling boil, and the temperature settings seem to be fairly accurate. I tested the temperature of the various settings with a thermometer, and they were all pretty close (+/- 2 degrees F).

The kettle holds a lot of water, 1.7 liters- more than enough for a good morning’s tea session.

Other reviews mentioned that the lid is a two position lid, and that it doesn’t open fully. I have had no difficulty with the lid, and it works well. I do wish the lid could be removed entirely for cleaning purposes, but I can still fit my hand inside to clean it.

The cord is 3’ which is useful for most kitchen setups. However, I would caution against using an extension cord, unless it is a heavy duty one.

The buttons work great and the design is sleek and clean. This is a well thought out piece of brilliant engineering (except for the lid). I’m very happy with this product, but only time will tell if it will hold up in the long run.

Nice size and elegant design. Heat the water quickly to desired temperature (boil, green tea, black tea) and has keep warm function for 1 hour. I tested the boil and green tea temperature and tea (green tea) taste, I found the tea with boiling temp 212 F degree taste better than 176 F (Green tea) for green tea. So this tea pot could just uses 3 buttons instead of 8 ( On, Boil, and Keep warm), to keep life simple (and cost lower).

Another thing is that I wish the water pot cover could open wider, so it will be easier to fill the water. especially for the faucet with large spray head.

All in all I would buy it again if it lasts more than 5 years. The computer control water temperature sounds nice, but if a simple capacitor fail (the weakest link), the whole thing might be useless.

I have only had this about a week but it's very easy to use. It quickly heats the water for my tea. Make sure to pay attention to the minimum amount of water you have to use so you don't break it.

There are several issues with this item and had to return the it. First, the display doesn’t stay lit even with it being plugged in and had to lift it off the mount to locate the power on button (frustrating) Second, after boiling the water it left a metal plastic taste to it, and I thought it could be the water source but only filtered water was used every time. Plastic is leaching.
